Cyberspace here I come

Gosh, all this latest technology, makes one feel like they are entering into another planet. This program will take me on an interesting journey into unknown territory where I can increase my lifelong learning and prepare me for cyberspace questions asked by our library clientele. When our library visitors drop by and ask about these strange words I will have a basic knowledge and thus welcome them to come on this exciting cyberspace journey with me into blogland. Aren't we lucky we have yet another world from where we can continue our lifelong learning.
This journey I have learnt is an electronic journal and I cast my mind back to the eras I have seen (granny that I am), slate and pencil day, old ink well, fountain pens, solid old typewriters through to electric typewriters, huge computers, laptops and now here we go again into a new era of technology. There is a never ending field of what users can do with blogs for all ages. This technology is only limited by our knowledge which as staff in the library environment we need to ever increase our lifelong learning to enable us to be prepared to answer questions at any time from our library clientele. I am excited about the prospects of what we are about to learn and look forward to sharing this knowledge with others through blogs on bookclub, training, billboard, promotions, networking with fellow colleagues in other libraries, teenage user group blogs, childrens user group blogs and the list goes on and on and on. Looking forward to reading your blogs as we continue our journey into cyberspace.
